Diak brings digital oral self-care into nursing education

Diaconia University of Applied Sciences (Diak) has taken DentView into use at the Diak Oulu Health Hub, its EU co-funded learning and innovation environment in Oulu.

Diak selected DentView through a public tender in August 2026. On 24 September we delivered a DentView self-care station to the Oulu campus and trained Diak's health-sector lecturers to use it. The order also includes the DentView app for two of Diak's own tablets and the DentViewPro professional portal. The station runs in Diak's violet with the Diak and funding logos.

With DentView, Diak's future nurses deepen their understanding of oral health and its connection to general health. Oral health is not a separate issue, it affects overall wellbeing.

"Oral health and general health go hand in hand, and nurses are often the professionals who meet patients every day. It means a lot to us that Diak's future nurses learn digital self-care guidance already during their studies."
