From a glance to a self-care path.
Many patients just sit and wait. The screen gives them a reason to start, and the content is based on the Finnish Current Care Guidelines for oral health.

Prevention screens
Short messages on interdental cleaning, energy drinks, nicotine pouches and more rotate on the screen. New 3D animations show the right brushing technique.

A tap opens games, quizzes, short guides and self-care tests for every age, from expecting parents to older adults.

Interactive self-care path
In about 5 minutes the path mixes questions, games and personal guidance for each age group. This is the part of DentView that has been studied in research, and the answers go to the professional's report.

Games and guides take about two minutes and store nothing. Self-care tests go to the professional's report and end with a personal QR code to the MyDentView app. The menu has nine sections:

A kit from the dispenser
At the end of the path the dispenser hands out a self-care kit with a plaque-disclosing tablet and a toothbrush, so the patient can keep practising at home. The QR code on the package opens MyDentView.
MyDentView at home
The patient's own QR code opens a personal self-care summary, with no login. After the visit the professional can send home care instructions through DentViewPro and mark findings on a 3D model of the teeth, and the patient sees them in the app.
