DentView Participates in the DSS Oral Project: AI and New Solutions for Prevention
DentView is supporting the Finnish-Swedish DSS Oral project, which focuses on developing AI-driven digital solutions to support preventive oral healthcare. The project is coordinated by the University of Oulu and Mid Sweden University, aiming to improve the effectiveness of preventive care in both Finland and Sweden.
AI Supporting Everyday Care
At the core of the DSS Oral project is the use of artificial intelligence to identify oral health risks and personalize self-care. New digital tools help identify at-risk individuals more accurately and provide them with targeted support — making everyday work easier for both patients and professionals. The pilots will be carried out in real-life dental care environments in both Finland and Sweden.
DentView's Role
DentView's contribution to the project focuses on piloting our system at a Swedish dental clinic, both in the private and public sectors. Our goal is to evaluate how effectively DentView's system can assist professionals in predicting oral health risks and whether it could be used more broadly as a risk assessment tool. In addition to improving DentView's risk detection capabilities, the project gives us valuable visibility and hands-on experience in the Swedish healthcare context.
